Changes to the NIH biosketch format

Anyone who may be interested in applying for NIH fellowships or grants in the future might want to check out the NIH news blog.  The “biosketch” portion of NIH proposals is going to be updated and will need to be completed following a new format.  I’m mostly seeing changes on the predoctoral/postdoctoral biosketch forms, where they’ll now ask us to complete a section called “Contributions to Science” where we have to put our publications and other work into perspective and describe how they have benefited the science community, interesting.

Find the NIH blog here discussing some of these changes:  http://nexus.od.nih.gov/all/2014/11/26/implementing-the-modified-nih-biosketch-format/
